BIOGRAPHY
Hi there! I'm Milo Paperman, a percussionist currently living in Seattle. I'm experienced in orchestral, new music, opera and broadway repertoire. I especially love the complicated multi-percussion choreography of modern musicals and chamber operas.
A Seattle native, I started my percussion journey in middle school through the Seattle Youth Symphony program. I received my Bachelor's in Percussion Performance from Temple University in Philadelphia in 2023, and my Master's in Percussion Performance from DePaul University in Chicago in 2025. My primary teachers in school were Phil O'Banion, Chris Deviney, David Herbert, and Eric Millstein.
One of my favorite classes in university was orchestral repertoire class, where we would learn the parts to major orchestral works and play them along to a recording.
I decided to recreate this experience on my own, recording all of the percussion parts to major works and combining them together along to a recording.
